The technician that came to check on my broken freezer, Ilya, was very knowledgeable, experienced, and professional, and I would definitely return to this company if I have future appliance issues. Through the initial consultation over the phone, it was immediately clear that Ilya was very knowledgeable and experienced based on the questions he asked and what he was able to deduce just based on the information provided him. He was able to come check my fridge on the day of on very short notice, and spent much time dismantling my fridge to get a proper diagnose of the underlying issue (not just the problem at face value), whereas the company I previously reached out to before switching to Edellin had only looked at the fridge for a few minutes and gave a very vague diagnosis. The previous company (appliance repair expert, they are scammers, do not use their services) never contacted me after I paid the home visit fee, even though they said they would send someone to repair my fridge later, and was unresponsive when I called or emailed. On the other hand, Ilya was very honest with me that fixing my fridge was possible but not worth it, as the fridge was quite old and the repairs and part replacements would cost more than half the cost of getting a new fridge of the same model. He also provided a contact to an appliance company that would be able to give me a discount for a new fridge. My fridge had officially filed for retirement. The last repair company poked around, charged me $300+ just for existing. Desperate, so I called Edellin Home Services. Ilya didn’t rush me, didn’t act like my complaining was a burden, just listened and calmly said he’d be there in two hours. I almost cried. Then he showed up on time, toolbox looking like it belonged to a fridge wizard. He popped the door open, took one look, and instantly spotted why the defrost mode had gone on permanent vacation. The man moved like he’d been fixing fridges since the invention of ice cubes. Two hours later my fridge was back from the dead, purring like a happy cat. No sneaky credit-card surcharge. No “surprise” extras. Just a very reasonable price and a working fridge. I can finally cook real meals for my family again. They looked at me with actual pride instead of pity. Honestly, I felt like a kitchen hero. His service is straight-up priceless. If your appliances are acting up, give Ilya a call. You will not regret it. Edellin Home Appliances repair is a good place to call to fix your home appliance problems. I had a problem with washing machine, the water was not draining. The service call to come in was prompt and diagnostic and repair was handled efficiently. Throughout the process, the service person was courteous and friendly. Our fridge died months ago and I was lucky to have found Ilya. He came out quickly, diagnosed the problem and explained what was going on.  Ilya is extremely professional and hard working.  His charge was very reasonable for both parts and labour. I will hire him for any repairs in the future.  Months later, our older fridge is still going strong. Thanks Ilya!
